The Zulfikarabad Development Authority Act, 2010 Sindh Act No: XXI OF 2010 to provide for establishment of Zulfikarabad City in District Thatta and to establish an Authority for such purpose. Whereas it is expedient to provide for establishment of a modern city to be known as Zulfikarabd City in District Thatta and to establish an Authority for such purpose to be known as Zulfikarabad Development Authority for carrying out the purposes of this Act.

The Authority shall be a body corporate, having perpetual succession and a common seal with power, subject to the provisions of this Act, to acquire and hold property, both movable and immovable, and shall by the said name sue and be sued.

The Honourable Ex-President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zardari envisioned the development of Zulfikarabad City in the memory of late Prime Minister of Pakistan Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

Zulfikarabad Development Authority (ZDA) created on 23rd Nov, 2010 through an Act passed by the Provincial Assembly, Sindh titled “The ZDA Act, 2010”.

Objective
